Karma Automotive Blends Luxury, Innovation, and Philanthropy at 2026 Royal Versailles Ball
Last Saturday, May 23, Karma Automotive served as the exclusive automotive partner of the prestigious 2026 Royal Versailles Ball: a private, invitation-only, white-tie charity event held at the Palace of Versailles in France that honored Queen Victoria’s 207th birthday while paying homage to Napoleon III’s historic Ball of 1855.
A Royal Entrance
The Ball’s Guest of Honor, His Highness Prince Joachim Murat, the Prince of Pontecorvo, was chauffeured to the Ball in a bespoke Karma Revero sport sedan, which was the only vehicle permitted to pass through the Cour d’Honneur and onward to the Golden Gate of Versailles. This unique Revero featured commemorative decals, 85° rear “Stage Doors” designed for ease of entry, a Bridge of Weir leather interior, hand-stitched diamond-pattern seats, lambswool carpets, and custom Royal Versailles Ball insignia adorning the front and rear compartments.
Prior to the Ball, the Revero was displayed alongside the Karma Kaveya super-coupe at the residence of the British Ambassador to France, Sir Thomas Drew KCMG, offering our European audience the chance to view our ultra-luxury offerings up close.
Engineering Meets Artistry
Both Victorian-era innovation and our design philosophy intersected at the Ball. Victorians believed progress should be admired inside and out, with engineering and art working as one. We continue this pursuit through automotive artistry that blends soul-stirring performance with segment-leading efficiency without sacrificing true luxury.
Driving Educational Opportunity
The Ball’s three selected charities, which comprised of The King’s Foundation, Room to Read, and Fondation Franco-Britannique de Sillery, were chosen for their support of mental health and educational efforts around the world. Likewise, we strive to accelerate educational opportunities for youth in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) through our founding of the Clean Mobility Development Collaborative, and the donation of more than USD $2 million in electric and connected vehicle assets and equipment to academic institutions.
Innovation Beyond the Ballroom
Through our collaboration with the Royal Versailles Ball, we reinforced our focus on luxury, innovation, and social impact to a distinguished audience that included dignitaries, philanthropists, and leaders of industry. We continue to grow our European dealer network, amplify our support for early and continuing education initiatives, and ready our expanded range of ultra-luxury vehicles, beginning with the Gyesera Grand Coupé, which debuts later this year.
