Electrum Gold: A Karma Signature

Many automotive manufacturers operating in the ultra-luxury space utilize signature colors to cultivate brand familiarity. For example, red may remind you of a particular Italian car company, while green may bring to mind a certain British brand. Without fail, you associate those colors with those respective manufacturers. During Monterey Car Week 2026, Karma Automotive revealed its own trademark color: Electrum Gold, a timeless hue that pays homage to American independence and innovation.

More Than a Color: Developing an Identity

We believe color should evoke a sense of emotion and purpose.

Many of our pre-existing colors reflect our unique positioning as a California-based manufacturer, as we proudly design, engineer, and manufacture our vehicles in the Golden State. Shades like Pacifico Gray, Balboa Blue, and Napa Red are named after iconic California locations.

However, our brand represents more than just one state. We represent America as a whole.

As America’s only full-line ultra-luxury vehicle manufacturer, such values needed to be reflected in our signature color. We needed a color that was not only beautiful to behold, but also significant to our heritage and our future.

Thus, Electrum Gold was born.

Uniquely American

Electrum Gold is more than a simple shade: it holds unique roots in American history.

Following the Coinage Act of 1792, the first national mint in the United States was established in Philadelphia. The very first U.S. coins were fashioned of one of three metals: copper, silver, and gold, with each color representing coins of a different value.

Electrum Gold is a blend of all three. The same copper, silver, and gold that served as the backbone of our currency now come together to form something truly extraordinary.

The Harbinger: Gyesera PB75

Electrum Gold deserved to debut on a special vehicle. With our Gyesera grand coupe slated for showrooms this December, we decided to use one as our canvas and use the Pebble Beach Concept Lawn as our stage. This Gyesera, however, is a bespoke creation. 2026 marked 75 years of the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and we chose to dedicate this Gyesera to the occasion.

Enter Gyesera PB75.

With Electrum Gold as the base and fashioned with a Stellar Red livery, this vehicle features “PB75” stripes on the hood, trunk, and front doors. The interior is finished in Reserve Red with Red and Black leather, courtesy of Bridge of Weir, with Charcoal Alcantara and Platinum accents. The car also showcases our brand new 22” Light Speed wheels, finished in Champagne and Galaxy Black, with red brake calipers blazing behind the spokes. The icing on the cake? A trunk-mounted rear wing, designed exclusively for this example.

On the Concept Lawn, we displayed Gyesera PB75 alongside other visions of customization from around the world. There, we staked our claim, and our color, for all to see.

The Future of Electrum Gold

As our brand’s signature shade, expect to see Electrum Gold appear on our upcoming models, including Amaris, Kaveya, and Ivara.
