Karma Automotive: Our Story, Our Evolution, Our Future

09.30.2026

Karma Automotive was born from an opportunity: to take the foundations of an ambitious automotive idea and build something new.

For more than a decade, we have been doing exactly that. We are building an independent American automotive company with our own leadership, our own vision, and an unwavering belief in the future of ultra-luxury performance.

Our story is one worth telling clearly.

We Are Karma Automotive

Karma exists to reinvent and restore American ultra-luxury while making a meaningful difference through the venues of community, technology, and experience. We believe automobiles can be more than transportation. They can be objects of beauty. Expressions of individuality. Machines that make the simple act of driving something to look forward to.

That philosophy has guided our evolution from the first-generation Revero sports sedan to the upcoming Gyesera grand coupe, and it will continue to shape what comes next.

Our Karma Automotive President and Chief Executive, Marques McCammon, said it best: “We’re not Fisker. We’ve never been. We are our own company, and we have our own vision about the impact we’re going to make in the industry.”

To understand that distinction, it helps to understand where our story began and get clear on who we are; and, more importantly, who we are not.

Built to Evolve

Our vision was to create timeless, beautiful vehicles to inspire people around the world.

Karma Automotive’s story began with the acquisition of assets and equipment from a then-defunct Fisker Automotive, but that is where the Fisker story ends and the Karma story begins.

Since then, Karma has built its own leadership, engineering, design, manufacturing, sales, and marketing organizations, and has developed a vision for the company’s future that is distinctly its own.

Henrik Fisker has never been a part of Karma Automotive…period. Not from day one. Not ever.

What Karma did inherit from Fisker was an opportunity.

We saw value in an extraordinarily distinctive automotive design and in the potential of Hybrid Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) technology. Rather than walk away from those assets, we chose to build upon them and evolve.

And we have spent more than a decade doing just that.

Evolution by Design

Great automotive design doesn’t have an expiration date.

The first-generation Revero retained elements of a silhouette we believed was timeless. Since then, Karma’s design team has continued to evolve that foundation, culminating today in Gyesera. This grand coupe carries recognizable Karma DNA while advancing the brand’s expression of American ultra-luxury.

Gyesera combines razor-sharp design, luxurious refinement for four passengers, exhilarating performance, and the low-volume exclusivity of a vehicle created for drivers seeking to jettison the ordinary.

That continuity is intentional.

We believe distinctive automotive brands should have recognizable design DNA. The goal isn’t to abandon what makes a vehicle identifiable; it is to continually reinterpret and advance it.

From Revero to Gyesera, Karma has preserved elements of a silhouette we believe remains distinctive while continually evolving its execution, technology, performance, and refinement.

Advancing the Hybrid EREV

The same philosophy applies beneath the surface.

Karma has long believed drivers shouldn’t have to choose between the immediate benefits of electric propulsion and the freedom to keep driving when the battery reaches its limit.

That belief is at the heart of our Hybrid EREV technology. The technology’s roots can be traced to the assets Karma acquired, but what matters most is how far it has progressed.

Gyesera offers up to 80 miles of all-electric range, with its generator providing up to an additional 280 miles, delivering up to 360 miles of total range.

These industry-leading metrics represent more than a decade of learning, engineering, and refinement, and we aren’t stopping here. Our work to advance Hybrid EREV technology continues.

What Defines Karma Today

Our origin is part of our story but does not define the limits of our future.

Today, Karma is building toward something much larger: the reinvention of American ultra-luxury.

We are creating automobiles for people who value individuality over ubiquity, timeless beauty over convention, and the experience of driving over simply getting from one place to another.

We are deliberately low volume. We believe exclusivity matters. We believe technology should enhance the driving experience rather than overwhelm it.

And most of all, we believe there is room in the automotive landscape for an American company willing to approach luxury, performance, and efficiency differently.

That is Karma Automotive.

The Next Chapter

Every automotive company has an origin story. Ours began with an acquisition. What followed has been more than a decade of building, learning, evolving, and defining what Karma can become.

Gyesera represents the next expression of that journey, bringing together the design, performance, technology, and exclusivity that will increasingly define the Karma brand.

And it is only the beginning of what comes next.
