With a KARMA EREV Powertrain, the battery and generator can work together or independently to provide electric power. In Stealth Mode, the battery is solely responsible for powering the wheels and provides a near-silent ride that still offers zero-emissions and high-performance. If driving in Sustain Mode, the generator is used to power the vehicle, with the battery acting as a buffer to provide quick, instantaneous power. Finally, in Sport Mode, both the generator and battery operate at full power. Together, providing exhilarating performance and peak vehicle acceleration when initiated.
